The following rules are based heavily on the rules available from the Gamebattles Call of Duty XBox 360 Ladders and have been edited solely for the purpose of the application to our Call of Duty Competition. These are in no way complete GB rules and should not be construed as such. If you would like to view the official GB rules, you can find them on their website



All competitors involved in The HTMU free for all are expected to know and understand all of the rules. Not knowing that a rule existed is not an excuse for breaking that rule.



The HTMU free for all will be run on a league system for the 7 week duration.
The points are calculated on the final kill result of each map played
Points will be awarded as follows:












Each player must keep note of how many Kills they have and the total scores for each round.
Each player must then report these results to the member of the ADMIN who is hosting the match either after each game is played or by submitting your results on the HTMU website. Failure to do so will result with a loss of points and a standard
1 point given.
If you miss 3 tournament nights in succession, you will forfeit all points and your place in the competition.
If at the end of the 7 week period there is more than 1 player with the same score, these members will play a sudden death match Free-for-all.



In the HTMU free for all, we want competition to be fun, fair and balanced. For that reason, we have restricted some weapons, perks and Killstreaks to minimise the element of luck and force the game to be played in the spirit intended by HTMU Members and Admin team. It will also allow members who are not ranked high enough or have unlocked weapon attachments the chance of being placed in the top 3 positions.

1. Killstreaks: The only killstreak rewards NOT allowed are: care packages and tactical nuke.
2. Weapons: Weapons from the LAUNCHERS class selection are NOT permitted with the exception of the stinger only.
3. Weapon Attachments: Akimbo and Grenade Launchers are not permitted on any weapon nor the use of any RIOT SHIELDS
4. No sniper rifles. this is to deter camping.
5. If you are not registered for the tournament but want to have fun, you are only allowed knives, throwing knife and grenades / semtex / claymores / smoke grenades / flashbangs / stun grenades

Conduct

All participants in any HTMU competition will be required to uphold to the highest standards and observe common sportsmanship. Racism/Glitching/Cheating will NOT be tolerated. If you are seen to be then you will be removed from the competition. Being abusive in any way towards fellow Members/players or Admins will also not be tolerated.

Miscellaneous

The rules are open to many different interpretations. The only interpretation which matters is the interpretation of the Admin team. We reserve the right to modify the rules at any time. This includes changes due to software updates or releases, and any other change deemed necessary by HTMU Admin. You must understand that the rules listed are guidelines to try and ensure fair and competitive play, and they will be applied by officials based on the spirit of the game. Teams should check the rules prior to any event to ensure they are in compliance. They should also keep an eye on the website, as changes will be announced on the website. You must be familiar with the current ruleset.
